
Prince Edward Island is accesiible by land, air or sea and the beautiful North Shore region is less than an hour from all three access point. Below are driving instructions from each of the three terminals, as well as a link to the website for each method of travel.
From The Confederation Bridge

- From Borden-Carleton, take the TransCanada Highway (Route 1) towards Charlottetown and Summerside (Route 1 A). After travelling approximately 10 kilometers the highway will split into two roadways.
- Keep to the right and take the Summerside (Route 1A) exit. Follow Route 1A towards Summerside until you reach the intersection of Route 2 to Tignish and Kensington.
- Make a right turn onto Route 2 East towards the town of Kensington. Stay on Route 2 East for 8 to 10 kilometers until you reach Kensington.
- At the set of traffic lights, you will find a Petro-Canada gas station. Keep going straight and stay on Route 6 towards New London, Stanley Bridge and Cavendish.
- Keep following Route 6 and travel through the scenic New London and Stanley Bridge. Stop and enjoy their many attractions.
- At Stanley Bridge the road turns to the left.
Remain on Route 6 and you will soon
arrive at the idyllic town of Cavendish.

From the Charlottetown Airport
- Head north on Maple Hills Avenue as you exit the Airport parking.
- Turn left toward Brackley Point Rd (Highway-15).
- As you exit from the Airport, turn right at Brackley Point Road (Highway 15) and then travel approximately 13.8 KM toward Brackley Beach.
- Turn left at Portage Road (Highway 6) and Continue to follow Highway 6 for approximately 15.5 Km.
- Turn left at Cavendish Rd (Highway 6) at the Co-Op as travel through the Village of North Rustico.
- Travel approximately 7 Km on Highway 6 from North Rustico to Cavendish central

From The Northumberland Ferry
- After exiting the Ferry, Continue straight onto the Trans Canada Hwy (Highway 1) and travel approximately 2.3 KM.
- Turn right at the Wood Islands Road (Highway 315) and follow for approximately 3 Km
- Turn left at the Selkirk Rd (Highway 23) and follow the Selkirk Rd (Highway 23) for approximately 18.8 Km, until you return to the Trans Canada Highway once again.
- Turn left at Kinross Rd (Highway 210).
- Then take an almost immediate right turn at the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 1). Continue to follow the Trans Canada Highway for approximately 32.3 KM toward Charlottetown.
- Take a Slight left to stay on the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 1)
- Turn right at Malpeque Rd (Highway 2) and continue to follow Highway 2 for approximately 19.1 Km, until you enter Hunter River.
- Turn right at Highway 13, located at the bottom of the hill in Hunter River. Follow for approximately 16.3 Km until you reach Cavendish.
- You can turn left at the lights or continue straight to the Beach
